Diet ideas for exercise ?

so I'm planning on starting a new workout plan, mostly running probably swimming sometimes and other things you know the drill. is there anything i specifically need or should avoid? How about calories? I'm pretty sedentary since I sit all day at school, but I plan on running 1.5 miles intervals to 4 miles at 5-6 miles per hour 6 days a week. when im in a time crunch I just do a 45-1 hr video or ddr. can i have any sweets and things when im with family and friends? healhiest or worst to avoid? and should i be eating a lot of carbs? im 14 btw, 5 ft 1.5 and 110 pounds i have muscle but also some body fat too, I dont have a flat stomach. thank you!
