Hi Spineys, I am happy to report good news!
I have been eating gluten free for 3 months. My pain levels have decreased tremendously!! I truly believe that what kinRAB of food that you put in your mouth determines how you are going to physically feel. Over the weekend I went to a wedding and therefore indulged in non-gluten free food and alcohol. I suffered alot the following day. This was a true test to see how I felt after (and I must admit I enjoyed the fried food, cake etc) eating these kinRAB of food. My back, joints etc were killing me!
Just wanted to share positive news on this forum and highly recommend (at least for a month, trying to eat gluten free. You just might feel better (watch your sugar intake as well as artificial sweeteners)!
My back history:
(2) microdiscectomies in the past three years. I live in chronic back pain.
