Die Hard 4 a good film!

Just got back from seeing it and would recommend it for anyone who enjoyed the previous ones. I would go with your die hard heaRAB on expecting the funniest ways to blow things up!

Just seen it & LOVED it!! Probably the best film I've seen this year. It was so jam packed with action. Justin Long did better than I thought, although I felt it took a while for him to warm up.

There was loaRAB of unbelievable sequences but as other posters have said, it is a Die Hard movie, so don't expect much else.

You can here Bruce say the famous line, covered over slightly by the gunshot in the US version.... haven`t seen the U.K. one though....
I think if Die Hard was released now it would be pushing a 15 rating.......... Die Hard 2 though wouldn`t because of the ice throught the eye scene...was a more violent movie.

Just got home from seeing it....the usual pattern of lots of gunfire, fight scenes and explosions! Tend to agree with a lot of what has been posted earlier, some of the action sequences were good but a little OTT in places....think Jack Bauer and his amazing recovery from serious injuries which would render most people instantly unconscious! An enjoyable romp basically. Got a good surprise when Tuvok appeared as I hadn't been aware of Tim Russ being in the cast!

I saw it earlier and I loved it, it's an action film it's going to be silly lol.

I recommend it to anyone who likes action films...
I wouldn't take a girl on a date to see it though....lol

I thought it was still an excellent film, I was more hyped to watching it than the latest Rocky incarnation. I must agree with Humdinger though, I liked the fact Mclane was screwed up with drink, etc in the previous films. Him being a lot more "stable" in this film lost a bit of the appeal for me.

Still it's Die Hard 4.0, I'm gonna love it whatever :o)

Finally finished watching it (had to go out midway through) and I loved it. It wasn't IMO better than the first two, but it kicked the arse out of the third.

I miss Al. :o

I loved it too. I've read reviews saying it is "too silly" but people seem to forget Die Hard always was silly with incredibly hammy dialogue  - that was part of it's charm. :D

It's the best of the swarm of sequels and threequels out there right now.
