Didn't Obama say the middle-class wouldn't get a tax hike?

Since when does "MAY CONSIDER" equate to "WILL DO"? Wow, you neo-cons, always jumping to wrong conclusions...no wonder our Country was in such a mess when you guys were running it!

He also talked about transparancy, A LOT.
Then he doesn't allow the guest list to the White House to become public...
Then he doesn't allow the documents about the water-boarding to become public, claiminig it's better to look forward than at the past.

He's definetely a liar, but what of it? What do we do next? We already know that they lie to us, but we need to get angry. We need to say, "I'm angry as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!"

Hey Zaphod - "May Consider" does not mean "Will Do", but it also does not mean "Absolutely Won't Happen", which is what his promise was. Also, do you have any idea what a Neo-Con is, as opposed to just a regular conservative? Or do you just say that to make yourself sound cool? Maybe you should look that one up.

While you're at it, you should think about how the Liberals were screaming about how Bush was going to use nuclear weapons against Iran - do you remember that one? All he said was, "No option is off the table", and that time it was the Liberals who equated "May Consider" with "Will Do".

I don't know anyone in his right mind who actually believed that Obama could possibly go forward with all his spending without raising taxes.

He has already raised taxed, just not INCOME taxes. That way he can say he kept his promise. Soon he will raise the income taxes and "Blame it on Bush".
Nothing new here!

Jumping to conclusions? It didn't take psychic powers to predict this during the campaign. If you recall, Republicans were pointing out, all along, that you cannot provide all the free goodies that Obama was promising without raising taxes, and that there weren't enough "rich" people to carry the load. But, we were overwhelmed by chants of "yes we can." Now the Obama administration is floating the first trial balloons for a tax increase that has become all but inevitable. There is a difference between understanding basic economics and "jumping to conclusions."
