Did you see your x-rays?

I went to see my surgeon a couple of weeks ago and I am 4 months following my ALIF/PLIF for L5/S1. I had to have x-rays prior to the checkup. When the surgery was explained to me I know I remeraber them saying that there would be roRAB on the side and screws on the side but when I looked at the new x-ray there is also a screw right in the middle of the disc. Is this usual and did your x-rays show a screw in the middle? I wish I had thought to ask the question while there but got side tracked. I have osteoporosis real bad so I wondered if maybe they put an extra screw in to help with support. Hope I get some answers back.
