Did you pick out your groom's wedding band, or did he help?

My fiance wants me to pick out his wedding band myself, but I really wanted him to help me pick it out since he will be wearing it every day of his life! I want it to be something he likes, but it's hard to tell because he doesn't wear jewelry. Plus, we picked out my ring together, so it only seems fair that he should help me pick out his.

Did you pick out your hubby's ring yourself, or did you pick it together?
 
we picked them out together.. i wanted his to match mine so we found one that was similar to my actual wedding band - silver band with small diamonds ...
oh well i guess it dosnt matter now since we are getting a divorce...........
 
We picked ours together, since we wanted matching bands.

Try to figure out what kind of person he is. Would he do better with a traditional, simple band, or something more ornate?

And don't worry. He gave you permission to pick the ring. He'll love it because it comes from you.
 
im not married but if he and i were ever to be married i would be the one who picked it. I want to find the perfect band for him, make it special from me to him and surprise him with it.
 
We picked out our rings together. We both needed comfort fit bands and that limits the selection a bit. We also wanted our rings to be similar, though not carbon copies of each other.
 
Too funny, my fiance and I just went through the same thing. I ended up dragging him along. I didn't tell him where we were going and then I was like, "ooo, let's look at wedding bands for you". It worked and we picked it out together. He chose something that I might not have, so it worked out well. I think if he's planning on wearing it the rest of his life, he should have a say in it and he needs to join you on your jewelry shopping trip.

I agree with you since yall picked out your ring together its only fair to pick out his too :) thats an easy excuse to get you off the hook of having to pick one out on your own. Im the same way i dont want to get him something that he wouldnt like because he is wearing if for the rest of his life. Me and my husband to be are going together to pick his out because like your h2b he doesnt wear much jewelry and i want to make sure it is something he likes.
