did you notice some missing scenes on TITANIC on five?

some major scenes had been cut, im guessing so they could show more ad's.

anyway, how long does titanic un-cut actualy run for without ad's?

I recently brought the DVD..god that film's long! I don't blame them for cutting scenes, it's about 3+ hours long! It would be a better film if it wasn't so long. I didn't watch it last night though.

Anyone see "Becoming Jane" on BBC1 last night? I had that recorded...now that the poster above me has said that scenes are often cut, got me wondering which ones were cut from the BBCs broadcast..:(

With FIVE showing Titanic for 3 and 3/4 hours its seems unlikely they would bother to edit it for timing.

If the dvd is 3h9 then about 8 or 9 minutes will be credits and FIVE will not have shown all the credits - at least not at the correct speed.

So a 3 hour film should fit in a 3 and 3/4 hour slot no problem - even with the aRAB and promos that are the reason most films fans don't watch films on commercial tv

I'm sure Kate Winslet getting her baps out was cut anyway... along with all the swearing, as there are quite a few instances of 'shit' and 'bastard' and even one 'f' word too for good measure!

It is possible to convert 2D footage to 3D but it will not look as good as material shot in 3D because of the guesswork involved.

Wonder if the 3D version of Titanic will improve upon the dated 12 year old CGI...
