One of Iranian poets had put 30 years of his life on (Shah nameh)(means the book of the king). He is called (Ferdosy). Farsi is the language of poetry.
If you are Iranian and you like to tell it so please tell that you are Iranian.
And I like Hufez, Sadi, Khayam,etc too.
 
molavi who Composed "divan-e shams" and " masnavi va manavi".
hafiz who Composed "divan".
saadi who Composed "golestan" and "bustan".
ferdosi who Composed "shahname" in thity years.
rudaki.
babataher.
all of these people lived in 300 to 900 years ago.
but Contemporary ones are "nima yushich","sohrab sepehri" and "akhavan-e sales".
