F forsight New member Nov 11, 2009 #1 in other countries? Most countries all over the world (including China!) have higher fuel efficiency standards for vehicles than America. Why doesn't the government raise standards to 35 mpg (FYI, the EU will get it up to 55 mpg in a few years)?
