On Daybreak at around 6.10am the presenters were discussing the headlines and newspaper stories with their colleagues. When they were looking at the pictures in the newspapers of the devastation in Japan Kate remarked "it looks like when Billy throws his toys around the room".
Whaaat?!
Small Balls - I think the point of my being up at 6am (5.45 actually) is that I'm out of the house too often. It's called working.
It's one thing to make jokes in private with similarly thinking friends/colleagues/family, and another to air your jokes on TV when the disaster is ongoing. Apparently there's a high chance of another major quake in the next three days.
I agree she's a buffoon - she laughs like a donkey at her own unfunny jokes and interrupts her co-presenters. Perhaps that's why I prefer Daybreak to GMTV as she's been demoted to an entertainment presenter, so she's usually not 'on the sofa'.
Tas- it isn't too bad from 6am - 6.45. No adverts or competition rubbish. 100% better than GMTV. However later on I've heard it's the same dismal GMTV.
Cass Adams - I noticed that too - it wasn't an authentic sad face was it?
