He was going on about how glad he was Bush is gone, and how sick he's been of "white lies" and that "my president is black"?

The man is a multi-millionaire with a beautiful rich wife, not a care in the world. What on earth does he have to be bitter about? And the whites are the ones that are considered racist. Was anyone else besides me offended by this?
Illuminated Truth: I was not quoting from one of his songs. I was quoting from what he said to a crowd.

I missed it but if that is what he said it should be publicized. He might be surprised at how many people will not buy his products in the future.

He doesn't sound bitter sound like he's just happy and is proud. He can express himself anyway he wants. This is still America isn't it? I don't see how you could have gotten offended.
 
I completely agree. I think rappers do that to look "cool" and "hood". Better record sells if they talk racist crap about someone.

He really gives sensible Obama supporters, such as myself, a bad name.
 
Probably how you white amerikans treated them in there past, i mean america is one racist country. from both sides. i'm still cool with Jay Z since he a good signer. but i really don't mind what he said. for i'm not even from this country i'm from Sverige. still leave the man be. he has rights to speak his mind

plus i dislike Bush for many reasons
 
no I didn't hear it and I frankly cannot stand him and beyonce they are both very much played out.. it shouldn't be about black and white, but that will never cease.
