Did you go see Sister's Keeper AFTER reading the book?

I read and loved the book as I have other Picoult novels. I want to see the movie because I think it will be a let down. Reviews suggest that it is loosely based on the book and tons of details even the ending is changed. So I dont know how I feel about going to see it. According to IMDB.com there is no Aunt Zanne or Julia (and I loved Julia's character). Why would Picoult allow this to happen? Should I go see it anyway - how did you feel after reading and watching the movie afterwards?

I haven't seen either the movie or the book.
I'll see the movie first.

Answer my question? Thank you.

I actually liked the movie more. The ending was better and much less of a cop out. i was proud of the movie writers. They did exactly what Picoult should have done- killed off Kate and made Anna's decision to sue her parents matter.

The movie did what a lot of books turned to movies did- it made it more entertaining for movie goers rather than the book's fans. They added more drama, and lightened up on the details and things that didn't contribute strongly to the story. It happens.
