Have you ever noticed how the new vampire stories are getting farther and farther away from how they were originally- like in Dracula? Now the vampires can go out in the sun (and in Stephenie Meyer's case, sparkle- which is really not a good idea) and they aren't scared of crosses. Have you ever thought that this is because the world is growing worse, and the devil isn't scared of Christ any more? It used to be that vampires were bad creatures, scared of Christ, (eg the Cross and Holy Water). It just seems like the books that young teens are reading nowadays are growing evil without anyone realizing it. What's your opinion on this?
