Did you ever notice that some supposedly educated people are really not educated at all?

One time a friend of mine came over to help me cut off a branch off my tree. Because the branch was pretty heavy (maybe 2 to 3 hundred pounds) we decide to tie up that branch and run the rope over a higher branch so we can lower it little by little after we cut it because it seem dangerous if the branch break and fall while we are cutting it. So I suggest that we tie the other end of the rope to the rear of my mini van but my friend ( who has a master degree in accounting ) tell me ( college drop out) that it is not a good idea because the 4 tires on my mini van has a very small area that is in contact with the ground and if I do that my mini will end up hanging up the tree and he went on to tell me that it is better if I hold on to the rope because my feet has more contact area against the ground than the tires on my van. In my mind I was saying " what kind of f**king logic is that". After what he told me I felt that he is a very dangerous partner to work with so I make up a excuse and called off the cutting. And I also have a friend who is a engineer and sometime his thinking and ideas come pretty close to this guy. Do you know anyone who is college grad but who say stupid and weird stuff?

Just because someone is good at math doesn't mean they're going to be good at history. Or just because someone is good at basketball doesn't mean they're going to be good at bowling. You know what I mean?
