Did you eat candy cigarettes when you were a child?

Did you become a smoker as an adult? I can't believe they were on the market for so long, lol!! They also had a cigarette shaped gum that you could blow and it would look like you were blowing smoke....I loved those things. Maybe I can blame those marketers for my bad habit? ;p
WHAT? They still make THEM?! What have I been missing!!! Maybe I can use them to kick my habit...

The boxes were so cool.
 
I sure did! And I did smoke for a few years, but I know that is completely unrelated. I don't see a candy leading to a nicotine addiction. It was candy not drugs.
 
They even came in a little cigarette pack! LOL.

Yep, I used to eat them all the time. My dad would grab both my brother and I one when we would stop for gas. While I had my experience smoking when I was a teenager (social smoker) I never smoked and definitely do not now.
 
lol...yup i "smoked" the candy and the gum when i was little....and i have the nasty habit of it now...ha ha....should we sue those candy companies now and make millions??
 
I bought those on friday :D They're awesome. I also think smoking smarties is fun too
 
I used to eat those, and even pretended to smoke as a child. I have never smoked a day in my life, never even tried it!

My parents never let me have them but I remember getting some once when I was a little older and wasn't with them.
 
I loved candy cigarettes, and no I did not start smoking as an adult. Sorry! I am sure that they were helping to advertise cigarettes to children so when they grew up they would not think of cigarettes being so bad. What a shame, getting kids hooked at young ages.
 
Oh my goodness! I LOVE those things! hehe we got them all the time when we would go to my grandparent's cabin in Michigan! I still get them, even as an adult when I can find them!
My dad was a smoker, my mom smoked when I was really little, then quit. I don't personally smoke, nor have I even tried it. I don't think candy cigaretts promotes smoking habits, but that's just me! Sorry :p
 
Nope, my parents had sense and wouldn't allow it... but seriously, you have no one to blame for your habit but yourself. I played with water pistols but I'm not a serial killer.
 
Yes, we loved them. We'd walk to the pool, with our cigarettes in hand. They still make them, you know. My daughter got some for halloween last year which I shamelessly stole from her for myself. They still taste the same!
