did we have a boom.. then a depression.. then wwi?

my theory is that there will be a wwiii soon BECAUSE.. history repeats itself as they say and it truely does. anyway i think that if the answer to my question is yes that there is a pattern.
(if my questions answer is yes..)financial boom. (prosperity)
then depression
then wwi
then prosperity
the depression then
wwii then
prosperity
then economic decline (almost depression)
then maybe wwiii????

doesnt that make sense... you followin me???

if the answer to my question is no then this goes right down the drain lol
and also if weve had two world wars already .. why not some more???

Before WWI we where in the gilded age. The upper certainly had a great deal of prosperity. I dont recall a serious recession and certainly not a depression. Your theory is still not bad. War brings us into prosperity and drives it on for a little while and then it begins to decline again. My figuring is that WWIII wil start over the Temple Mount/Dome of the Rock or U.S. vs. North Korea and then it extends to China and Japan etc etc etc

Yes at the turning from 1800 to the 1900 their was a big boom that lasted for about 16 years then in 1909 their was a drop in the economy (example of the economy clinton years so pretty good.) then there was a boom that lasted after howard taft got out nd was booming everybody had at least 100,000 dollars of free cash about 600,000 today. then we the united states went into war in the final 2 years and we came out of that good becuase our troops got there in the last year so not a big effect then the world went into a depression becuase of war spending then nobody bought american made things becuase there was no money then a depresion.
