Did Washington prove that Ty Willingham is the worst coach in history?

He destroyed two great programs at Notre Dame and Washington. Both got much better the moment he left.
We consider the 6 (going on 7) times we beat Texas this decade as "big games'. We also consider Big-12 Championship Games as "big games". Texas wouldn't know about that because they never play in it.

Nope, Ty rocks.

I am a Irish fan and think we never gave him enough time. he did a great job at stanford and maybe wash wasent the best fit for him, but Ty will coach again and succed.

I will take ty over Weis anyday

No that title goes to Bob Stoops

To the person who called me out I only said that because the person/ thing who asked this question is a dbag and the most biased user on here.

When Ty Willingham got to Notre Dame, they had nothing. He made them better, recruited better talent (Brady Quinn ring a bell), had one bad season and they canned him. And I never like to play the race card, I really don't but we would be naive to think that race didn't play a part in his firing from a school like Notre Dame.

Washington had nothing but Jake Locker. This is was a classic trap game for USC. A lesser opponent, on the road, after a big win in Columbus AND the head coach is your former offensive coordinator? It was a setup the moment the clock struck zero in Ohio State.

Washington may be improved, but technically, if they win 4 games this year, they are MUCH improved. Maybe Sarkisian brought a little more recuiting prowess. There's not a lot of talent in Washington and he's competing for talent with the rest of the Pac-10. Good luck with that.

And Redman? Bob Stoops has a national title. I don't care how long ago it was, he has one. On top of the fact that he's a Top 5 coach right now this second. Get real.
