Never release pets to the wild. If you want them to be free stop buying them and leave them in their homeland where they can survive. I you want your pet birds to be free buy domesticated chickens, duck, quail and etc.

do u ever wonder how fast your pet birds would fly in the open sky?
do u ever wonder how they look compared to the trees? their color matching with the trees or would they stand out ?
i often wonder when i see my birds look out side the window if they thinking about the same things i do?
i think of it on daily bases, i never walked by a bird outside without noticing them, i envy them, i wish my bird could do the same.
sometimes i wish they were never domesticated.
i could have been happy with just a dog..
i never cage my birds... ever.
and i read few articles how if u would release your exotic pet into the wild that their instinct would hit in right away, same as those guys releasing their lion.. or hawks, eagles etc.
i think parrots still havent been with us that long to be domesticated, people have been keeping lions and tigers way b4 our time and they still havent been domesticated.
what is your oppinion on releasing birds?
if lets say i knew i was gonna die in 2 days i would buy a plane ticket and go straight to australia to release my birds.. all of them are native to australia.
do u think chances are slim of them surviving ??
or do u think they woudl survive if they followed the flock of their own
i would never realease them around my area, but i really often wonder how would they look...
i think i woudl cry from happines for days at the time.
they fly around the house ,,, and have a lot of privilages but that still aint it.
birds are ment to fly , not to be locked in the cages

do u ever wonder????? or am i the only one?
IF I HAD ONE WISH!!!!!!! jUST ONE WISH.! I WOULD WISH FOR MY BIRDS TO FLY FREE... AS FAST AS THEY WANT AS HIGH AS THEY CAN BE!!!!!!!!!! TO REACH THE SON, EVEN THE MOON IF THATS WHAT THEY WANT! IF THEY ONLY HAD THIS GRANTED THAN I'D REST IN PEACE.............
i aint that young i tell u that, im an avian spec.
and im tired of seeing not just my birds but even theones at the aviary's acros the world. they wild and yet they locked in the cages'
my birds have a whole house to fly around and everything around my house is adjusted to them.
and i do feel they would adapt.
and i would never release them in my area..
id travel the great distance to do that, if i ever decide to release them.
and i do belive they would follow the flock of others......

Set, set, set it free
if you love it
set it free

You must be very young. Depending on the bird, it may survive or it may be eaten by a hawk. Many birds in captivity are from other climates and may not survive the one you are in. If you do release it, it probably won't come back.
