Tom "do as I say, not as I do" Daschle spoke for the democratic party, when Bush took office under his first term, to play the "class envy" card, when Bush forced congress to issue rebates to the taxpayers who paid taxes.
Liberals were defined by this act- e.g.- screaming leftist, Chris Mathews reaction to the rebates, "what about the poor people, they are not getting their fair share?". Chris didn't understand that taxpayers were getting a tiny portion of their earnings returned that had been confiscated by the IRS. Poor people pay zero taxes and are not entitled for rebates since they have not contributed any taxes at all.
Tom Daschle gave a speech to promote class envy (a play from the socialist handbook) by suggesting those who were getting their earned money back would rush out to buy a new Lexus with that money. Obviously, Daschle targeted Lexus because its a coveted possession of minorities.
Now, we find Daschle is a tax cheat. The poison he has spent his life to force Americans to take, he is guilty of not paying his own fair share.
DId Tom Daschle simply define liberalism and its hypocrisy (again) ?
