funding? Our highway funding is about to run out unless we come up with 7 billion. The government is thinking about raising gas taxes by 10 cents a gallon. Part of the reason that we're running out of cash is that people are driving way less and vehicles are more fuel efficient, causing gas tax revenue to fall. This got me to thinking that all these years the reason the government and American car companies never really made cars that efficient is because the more gas a car guzzles the more highway funding they get? Do you think this could be true?
