Did the League of Nations Meet During the Second World War?

The League of Nations was created after the First World War for the purpose of preventing another war. In 1939, it was clear that the League had failed in that objective, as that is the year the Second World War began. I have read that the League of Nations was not formally dissolved until 1946. So, did the League actually hold meetings during the Second World War? If so, what did they do? What sort of public reaction or acceptance did the League get? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks to all who respond.
