Did the GM bailout really 'save America' and jobs? how many Saturn workers will be

out of a job? or are the plant workers protected by the UAW agreement? and the workers in the dealerships are out of luck job wise? or is GM the 'same old business practice', even after their failure (oops, I mean bailout. since they are sooooo successful in running a company).
 
uaw and the weak management caused these problems that led to this fiasco.saturn is dead also.the bail outs will fail and gm and chrysler will fail by 2012.the gov.cannot even run the post office successfully....

GM is the host that the unions are sucking the last bit of life out of, until they discard the empty husk of a once great business and look for it's next victim
 
They will have to settle to lower wages and less health insurance.A sure way to force social health care is to own the major money making company's.
 
Keeping Saturn and axing Pontiac was a bad idea to begin with.
Saturn is the economy brand, cheaply made ( I know they are coming around, thats just the public opinion). More people respect Pontiac as a brand AND they dont make saturn racecars =). Saturn had less of a chance of surviving than Pontiac, I thought so from the start. Too bad they couldnt just "change their minds"
