Did the concept of Sunday church or prayer originate from the Blue Law?

I did research and I am not too sure if this is right with the history. If I am wrong, then where did Sunday religious practices come from?

It is called the Blue Law by John Calvin in the 1500's. The Blue Law states that no leisure activities are to be done on Sundays except practicing religious worship.
 
Christians began meeting for prayer and liturgical services on Sundays as early as the first century. There are explicit references to formal prayer and worship on Sundays in the New Testament (some as early as the 50's AD), as well as early Christian writings like the Didache. It is clear from the New Testament that Christians met on Sundays to observe the Eucharistic meal.
 
Your research may be correct for the modern christian era. The sabbath and no work on the sabbath started in ancient Jewish times during Moses day.
