Did the anti-war movement of the 1960s and 1070s have a net positive effect

on american culture? So there was this group that were calle dthe 'hippies' in the 1960s..they were opposed to the idea of having war, violence, etc...so did they have a positive effect on the American culture? (during that time and today)

Even if it was negative...how? why?
