Did T-mobile just get rid of SMS in Minutes and Mail?

I remember the T-mo 1000 minutes and mail plan ($59.99) included 300 text messages.

I currently have the 600 + N/W + BIS and $4.99 SMS plan and was thinking about switching to the M&M plan to save $4.99, but just noticed that they got rid of the text messaging part in that plan.

WTF?

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~i don't know. I know my unlimited data (no phone minutes) has 300 text messages included. Sometimes they do make changes and you are 'grandfathered' in to the old plan but if you change plans then you lose it :-( good luck to ya

i guess i can live with my plan... I guess the Minutes and Mail package is pretty much the same as buying the 1000 min plan and adding the BB add-on...both now have the exact same services and price. The only benefit of the minutes and mail was the included text messages. But now since they got rid of it, it kind of makes the 1000 min&mail plan kinda superfluous if you ask me.

I presently have minutes and mail and verified with Tmo a few months back the plan came with unlimited SMS and no MMS.

i have always had unlimited SMS with the plan.

Damn, I read it wrong!

i guess they did get rid of 300 SMS messages, but added unlimited in its place.

I'm goign to call them up and change. I don't ever use over 1000min per month.

that's for the BES 1000min and mail plan.

The BIS 1000min and mail plan is $59.99 and includes unlimited text. I just did a switch to this which will kick in at the start of the next billing period.
