Did sprint lie to me?!?

I took in my htc touch pro 1 in for repairs for the 4th time this year. I went in and demanded a new one, they said they can fix the TP1 so I wait an hour for them to repair, they said "all fixed" I walk out the store, I test my phone out it still glitches. I went back in they looked at it and said , " we will order your a refurnished htc touch pro 2" they said it will be here Wednesday( I went Sunday when this occured) they didn't give me a recipt they said, when I get to the store say I'm here to pick a phone and give them your number. I want to know how will they know I am the person to give the refurnished TP2 or did they lie And act like they don't know what I am talking about.
