Yeah, that seems to be pretty much universally agreed upon. Not necessarily that those of us with pre-existing conditions wouldn't have to pay more for it, just that they'd have to sell it to us at some price based on reasonable rate calculations. It's not about "I found out I have cancer, now I want to buy insurance for the first time", so much as "I'd like to buy insurance, even though my kidneys were damaged by childhood cancer and will probably fail in about five or ten years". As you can probably tell, I'm pretty annoyed at the way politics is getting in the way of actions that the politicians all seem to agree on.
