I will not judge!

Romans 2:11-16, "For there is no respect of persons with God. For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel."

98% had never even heard of God, let alone heard the correct oral tradition of Genesis from other Jews. They didn't have any moral values to guide them, besides their polytheistic beliefs and values.
Oh, there are people that don't believe in hell? I wasn't aware of that. Thank you for opening my mind, my friend. That lets me see the question in an entirely new view.

Depends on your definition of hell. As a place of fiery torment where you burn for sins then no. But then neither has anyone else since that's not a true Bible teaching. As the common grave of all humans which is what the word it's translated from means then yes they did. Where they await the resurrection and have a chance to be taught and then make a choice which will determine their future.

Romans 1:20 "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse."

I think people understand right from wrong without having to have it spelled out completely. I don't think they all went to hell, though.

According to some early teachings, Jesus spent Easter Saturday performing an event called the Harrowing of Hell. In this he freed all the righteous gentiles from Hell and took them to Heaven. So yeah, they apparently went to hell, but only for a few hundred/thousand years.

There is scripture portraying that people who never heard of God but lived by God given instincts of right and wrong that the spirit gave them will be given a chance to receive Christ. I personally believe that is what the 1000 rule of Christ is about that will come to this earth,. All those who did not have a chance to choose will be raised then and live through that period and given a chance.
But those who did evil though their instincts told them not to will not be given a chance to receive Jesus. God is fair.

All the people who did never hear about Jesus Christ will be judge by their conscience in it will be softer for them. God won't make any unfairness.

* Several groups had a knowledge of God outside of Abraham. (i.e. Melchisedec Genesis 14:18)
* Abraham was not a Jew, he was from Iraq (also called Ur of the Chaldeans and they knew about God, but they became corrupt overtime with their own philosophy)
* Moral values are universal. Don't murder, don't steal, don't lie, don't covet, don't commit adultery, honor your parents, love God above all. I mean, how much simpler can they be?
* According to the scriptures, all men will be judged according to their knowledge of right and wrong whether they know about God or not. (Romans 2:12)

So no, the pre-Abraham civilizations didn't all loose their soul if that's what you mean. hell is another issue (see Ecclesiastes 9:5)

I don't believe in fairy tales. And NO I'm not atheist, I'm Buddhist, and I have a mind of my own. I don't need some dead guy on a stick to tell me how to live, I have enough intelligence to so that on my own.
