Did Mark Sanford get out easy, during the current news?

Governor Sanford seems to have gotten off the hook. And, you know what? It eased by in the news due to the Michael Jackson coverage. There seems to be something about these type (such as Sanford) that are constantly casing a smoke screen to get away with murder. How did President Clinton wind up holding the bag? Can anyone else smell a dead fish, besides me?
 
He's about as much of an idiot as we've seen in recent times. When MJ (and Farrah and McMahon) stories hit, you would have thought that he would have tried to just slink away, hoping that when MJ's story died out, Sanford would be a bit stale for coverage. Instead the idiot kept going on TV making more and more outrageous statements almost as though he wanted to stay on the air. Did he really help anyone by all his rhetoric about wanting to try to fall in love with his wife again, and how the Argentine woman was not just a fling or a physical thing, but his soul mate.
 
He is not off of the hook. The media simply decided to ignore everything else happening in the world to cover Michael Jackson's death. Trust me, Mark Sanford will still have to answer for his actions.
