did i void my Honda warranty by doing this?

While i was trying to poke a hole in a rubber stopper with a screw driver, where all the wires from the radio and electronics are, the chime of the door being opened stopped and the radio turned off. Everything else on the dash works like the speedometer gauges and stuff and even the lights on the heater works. So I am pretty darn confused as to what i did, and yes i know i damaged something, but exactly what, and i was wondering if by trying to make this hole, did i void my warranty? I have a 2008 Honda Civic EX.
 
take it to them and hope no one says anything. they might just be nice and fix it sense the problem is so minor.

next time have the professionals install your radio.

i can't tell you how many kids systems I've had to fix. (most had twisted together wires covered in masking or electrical tape) :(
