Did i take the pregnancy test wrong? Please help.?

Just go buy another test to be sure. If for not other reason than peace of mind.

If you'd held it too terribly wrong you probably wouldn't have gotten a result.

But the peeing on it for three seconds instead of five *could* have effected it just cuz maybe it didn't have enough chance to detect the pregnancy hormone.

Doubtful, but possible.

I don't think being on birth control would effect the rsult at ALL.. the pregnancy test detects for a special hormone produced during pregnancy. Though on the pregnancy test booklet they usually list commonly used drugs that could affect the result.
I really don't think bc is one of them though :) :).

Get back on your birth control asap if you don't want to get pregnant and keep using your condoms and pulling out.

If he pulled out (and it didn't drip onto your 'area') and you used a condom and it didn't rip you probably aren't pregnant though :) :).
 
Im late, had sex with my boyfriend and used condoms all of the times PLUS he pulled out. I used to be on birth control but i skipped a month (this month). I took the test, came out negative, THEN i read the box (how dumb am i) i peed on it only for 3 seconds and i was supposed to pee on it for 5, and after ward i held it the wrong way. But it was a digital one and it CLEARLY said it was negative. But did i just do it wrong? Is the mess up of hormones from not taking my birth control this month the reason? Please help.
The one i took said "5 days before missed period". And I had just a little bit of blood, but it was only for a day and it was bloody discharge. it didn't even absorb into the tampon. Ive also been over stressed this week, i know that contributes to it, but i didnt know how much.
