Did I make her angry or was she testing me?

We've been really close friends for about 4 years. I really like her, but I don't know how to say it. She has trust issues when it comes to relationships. I drove my friend home when she was really drunk. She asked me to stay because she said she didn't want to sleep alone.

Things went in an awkward direction while I was hugging her, she asked me if I would have sex with her. I said we shouldn't because it just seemed wrong. She was really drunk and we aren't going out or anything. She asked again after that. It just seemed not like her to be almost begging me to have sex with her.

After sleeping on the carpet in her apartment, I woke up and found she had left me there. I didn't want to risk losing one of my best friends. She hasn't returned my phone calls since then. I'm not sure if I made her angry or not. I'm not really sure what I should say to her.

Neither. She is probably embarassed. She might not remember, or she might feel rejected. I had a friend do this once. She waited til she was drunk to make a move because if the guy said no she could always blame on the alcohol. I would call her and tell her the truth. Tell her you have something important to say and don't let her start talking til you are done. Tell her your feelings and why you didn't make a move that night. Tell her you want to take things slow so she can have time to learn to trust you in that sense. Friends is a totally different world than a relationship and the adjustment is hard for a girl.

Now's the time to stifle your fear and come out and tell her how you feel. Tell her that you were not rejecting her but didn't feel it was the right moment to do that and it made you feel that you would be taking advantage of her and you respect her way too much. Also tell her that you were hoping there would some day be a more special time to make love to her.

**I'm telling ya, you have to speak to a woman's psyche.
