i have a beta fish. I changed his water and went to put him back in his water. i had the water on cold because i thought that is what he is supposed to be in, but after reading up on it where i could, i discovered they prefer. i didnt realize that the water had been warm even though i set it on cold, and once i put him in, he is currently laying on his side at the bottom of his bowl, and i can bet i know what that means, but i here and there get tiny movements from him. did i cook him or paralyze him or shock him because he is used to cold water? is there anything i can do?
