did i just pull a grub out of the top of my head?

When I was 15 years old I noticed a bump on the top of my head. I didn't think anything of it because it was not painful or irritating in any way. I'm now 34 years old and the growth has become a large bump that I joke is a tumor but I have no idea what it is. Last night I noticed a small scab where the bump is. I picked it off and it created an opening at the top of my head about the size of a Q-tip. I squeezed it and white, bloody pus came out. I squeezed more and something that looked like a chick pea or a small clove of roasted garlic popped out of my head. There is still an opening the size of a q-tip and I'm wondering...'WTF?!'
