did I install this right?

Hi,
I installed a tank bib last night that I bought. I was hoping someone could look at the photos to tell me if I did it right. I honestly had no idea what I was doing lol.

The one I bought says VL800, I assume that is the same as my M50. Here is the product link

I just installed one similar on my yellowjacket. Got it at the local dealer and they said it fits a c50 or M50. Well they lied. The hole that goes aroung the gas cap didn't line up, but thanks to my exacto knife it does now. Since it fits under the nacelle it doesn't show.

As far as your installation, It fit, it looks good ,what could be wrong?
