so i went to the car audio shop today. I had my own infinity sub (12 inch) and bought a 500 watt alpine amp for $30 of craigslist.
Now i have no idea how to install these things, so i naturally get them installed professionally. But i was debating whether or not i should get an amp for my car speakers (new memphis after market spent $200)
so i ended up spending $260 for a new 1000 amp (metrik MAB 944) powered to my speakers, and an installed alpine amp to my infinity sub.
my question is did i do the right thing? i drive a 02 corolla btw,
did i do the right thing spending $260 for the amp and other amp and sub installed
or could i have just payed like $60 to get the alpine amp and sub by itself... no amp for speakers?
i feel like i spent something i didn't need to
