It's hard to answer this question, but one would assume the answer to be no. The reason is because Hitler, being prudent, never personally attributed himself any direct line to the extermination. No signed orders with his name, no outright communication from/to him regarding the practice outright.
So, to have actually visited a camp would have removed this sense of plausible deniability.
