Did hell freeze over?

I took a photo of the thermostat with my cameraphone, and it was 60.1 degrees last night.

Thank you, civilian contractors. I appreciate you taking jobs from soldiers and proving that you can do a better job. I LOVE sleeping under 3 blankets with wool socks, long johns, and a beanie on.
 
Wuss. I don't know for sure, but I'd bet that my basement is very close to that temperature. And I sleep just fine with no socks, long johns, or beanie. I do have a decent heavy quilt, though...not blankets. I also have hair on my head, and a beard. Maybe that helps?
 
Half of what I make goes to bills so I can live comfortably. I still sleep in the basement when I have a whole house to myself.

I agree. If you like it at 80F at night, you should get that. I like it cool at night, so I sleep in the basement where it's cool all the time.

If the fucking heat isn't working because the idiot contractors won't fix it, that sucks hardcore. Sounds like someone needs a good assraping.

That's a good idea! Most likely most people don't know about that shit. Realistically, most people probably wouldn't care, but at least a website would get the word out and possibly make some idiots get their asses in gear.

Hostile, that really suck about the heat issue in the barracks. They should really fix that, especially when they take so much out of your pay for living costs. That's insane.

Our apartment is usually between 56 and 61 degrees F. Although, I've decided I'm tired of huddling under 6 blankets at all times of the day, so I've been leaving my heater on 24 hrs. It doesn't help that it's been about -11 with a killer wind chill here all week. Apparently, if any part of your body is exposed for about 30 seconds you'll have some pretty nasty frost bite.

Luckily, there's usually only a week of this weather each year. *prays for a warm up*
 
Yeah man, fuck this freezing shit. There's nothing more I hate then cold weather. To me it's the most uncomfortable shit ever. Or I'm sweating my ass off because I have to much fucking clothes on or I'm freezing my fucking nutsack off, there's no middle part.
 
yeah its cold here in michigan too. i want to move to cali where its warm! my school is set up with 3 buildings so i have to walk outside about a quarter mile to each one its fucking freezing!!
