Europe did not steal culture and I personally find it quite ignorant to believe otherwise. Europe although a continent is not a single unit,state or country.
If you were to travel between Paris and Nice you would find that there is even a cultural difference there.These include greetings, French dialect, Food. Or even smaller in Ireland-culture varies between a distance of 10 miles in plenty of places. In Ireland's case, we can believe that the Irish language was drown out by the British. This is similar in the case of South America.
However to say 'steal' would mean that these civilizations took them and used them-totally untrue. Yet it is true that plenty of inspirations were taken on from other cultures-like ancient Egyptian architecture.
Countries like America and Canada take inspirations from other countries too as it is the people who live there that influence a culture.
