At the end of the movie, do they find out if Dickon died or not? There are two versions of "My Secret Garden" and I only want to know from the 1987 edition NOT the 1993 edition.
Dickon is mentioned as being killed in the war, but he obviously died as a soldier, not a child. I think his death is spoken of in the narration by Mary as an adult. It's been two decades since I've seen this film, so I don't really have a strong memory. I know that I liked the b&w version better, and I like the 1993 version.
