Was looking at bikes a few days ago with a buddy. He cant decide between a Monster or a Hyper. They had a nice Monster 1100s in there that was crying my name.......I had to go look at gear for awhile lol.

Ducs are the best drug I've ever found, welcome to the support group, but I'll warn you, it's more hopeless than heroin.

^ I've got an '08 HM....definitely take one for a spin from the dealer, I love mine.

Ever since I bought the S I can't stop looking. Wouldn't doubt it if I ended up with a 999S to enjoy, 749R for the track or a 750 Paso with which to tinker.

I loved the original 900ss and when I started working at a dealership in 1992 and the owner announced that we were going to carry Ducati motorcycles, I literally began to drool . . . . . .

The first 900SS to come off the truck was set aside for my purchase. We didn't even open the box! I had no way of knowing if it was red. . . .or black . . . .full fairing or half!

After I sold three other bikes and paid cash for the balance, we opened the crate.

There was a Full Fairinged, Red 900SS and it was all mine!

I had that bike for two years and then the monster came out.... boy I have lusted for that bike for 15 years!

Anyhow, flash forward and now I'm drooling over the 796..... in white!

20+ at the moment.

All but 3 are/were bevels.
Also owned 3 Guzzi's & 6 Aprilia's so far.

Its not just Ducati's, Italian bikes in general are addictive.
