Did buying a Ducati make you want more Ducati's

$50k man, seriously. You can buy new in the $60k range, but why bother? I'm thinking $42k - $45k and I'm going to jump. The downside is that might take a year, and by then there will only be 1 year left on the warranty. From what I've read, the aren't exactly the cheapest to maintain if you don't have Ducati paying the 3 year maintenance

If Ducati would just make a 250R I would be all over that.

I have a 999 now and I am in the process of getting the Street Fighter and after that an 1198

Let me ask you guys this. Over the years, I've had more than one bike usually a Ducati/MV combo or a Yamaha/MV combo. But I notice that as time goes by, I tend to gravitate towards one bike and the other doesn't get used very often. So, eventually, the second bike gets sold.

I guess the latest example was when I ended up prefering my MV over the Tricolore and sold the Tricolore 9 months later. I recently traded the MV for a 1198 (due to radiator issues) and am enjoying the base 1198 much more than when I had the Tricolore since I don't have another bike to compete or compare with.

Does anyone else feel like having two bikes causes you to choose which one you prefer and utlimately diminishes the other one?

(I suppose you could exchange the word "bike" for "wife/girlfriend" too. )
