Did anyone went camping alone?

i am thinking of going camping alone. Though, i really don't know what to expect. is it going to be boring, fun, dangerous.... i would like to hear if anybody went camping alone; tell me what you experienced, what made you do it in the first place, and what you did that was fun or what you didn't do that was fun.
