Did anybody read The Notebook and loved it more than the movie?

Last night i stayed up from 11pm-3am and read The Notebook. I just picked it up thinking i would read a few pages. After a few pages i just COULD NOT put it down. I have never does this with a book before. Did anyone else do this?
I cried about 3 times, but all happy tears except for once.

&who liked it more than the movie?
