Diane 35

Hi, i just started the birth control diane 35, it says that there's a very high risk of blood clots. I was just wondering if anyone knows much about this? i'm going tomorrow to talk to a pharmasist about it but i was just wondering if anyone knows. Thanks
 
Hi, i've been on Dianette and i've heard online that you shouldn't stay on it for more than a year at a time, as it's more risky than the other pills. My doctor or nurse didn't actually tell me that though. But when i was on it, i dod have alot of water retention and had pains in my legs and chest, so came off it. Have you tried Marvelon? That's a good pill for spots. I'm on that and don't get any spots like i did on Microgynon 30 or when i came off it altogether.
 
I was on Diane-35 for about a year and I started having pains and twitches in my legs, so my doc switched me off it. I don't know much for sure, but she told me they'd done a study that showed there was a higher chance of deep vein throrabosis (aka a blood clot in the veins in the leg) than on any other BCP.
