We've been watching Dexter from the start on FX HD since February and it's very noticeable how over the four seasons Julie Benz has changed due to plastic surgery.

When she appeared in DH earlier in the year, we were still on season one of Dexter and didn't recognise her!!

IMO, she looked much better before she went under the knife.

I would blame the writing rather than the actress.

I think that ship sailed long ago. I liked the idea of a serial killer with no emotions but good at faking it. They dropped that pretty quickly. Nowadays he's full of emotions and very poor at faking any of them.

I can remember Alyson Hannigan saying how horrible Benz was to her on Buffy - she made her cry! That kind of colours my opinion of Benz.
