I don't think you're alone on it... I actually wasn't opposed to that pairing at one point (maybe at the beginning of this season or the end of the one previous), but during the season there was a shift from that for me...

I almost bought the paperback the other day, but I figure, maybe after the season ends and nothing new is airing would be a better time...
