Devon, how did you make out with your surgery? I'm having mine Oct 26th and am getting very nervous, of course. We have alot in common, my husband knows the basics but in reality he doesnt have a clue as to what I will be going through. That is scarry too! I'm having L4 to S1 disc replaced with donor bone and then the harware on both sides of the spine and how ever many srews and bolts. I have only had diskectomy's in the past. Doc said this will be much more worse than before, I thought they were bad! I'm a smoker so I've got to try and quit in the next couple of weeks. Have heart condition too but cardiologist said it shouldn't present any problems. Still I'm wimpy about all of this. Let me know how you are and how long your recovery time is taking. Are you up and walking around all the time and did you spend any time in the bed when the pain got to bad? Thanks Dear!
