So this needs a little higher learning...and i do not know what to do....we are to determine which reagent reacts with each of the carbohydrates and the nature of unknown solution...
the given reagents/solutions are starch solution, glucose solution, unknown solution, and benedict solution....
knowing that iodine reacts instantly and only one to two drops are needed
and
benedict reacts only after heating (use water and initial solution must be made blue to show reaction) use approx. 10-15 drops.
WHAT SHOULD I DO...we need to devise an experiment..but i do not understand it.... (those materials and solutions given)
