devaluing the Desmoisedici RR

I dont know about devaluing the RR but I think Ducati should be careful concerning these bikes. I really dont want them to build more than say 1 a decade.

According to the MCN article link given, the new RR will be "significantly" more expensive, so I'd say no so long as they keep their manufacturing numbers low...

not that i could afford one but i think i'd be pissed thinking that my 'exclusive' RR was now 2nd tier and was now 'inclusive'

seemingly, gone of the days of 1 of x00's. even some of the so-called specials are no more than a new 'skirt' - sorry 848 hayden lovers

maybe they are thinking of homologating for WSB? tongue-in-check....

I don't think so! It's the new kid on the block .

Real enthusiast will buy the older RR regardless, for the heritage and history behind it!

It'll be like old Ferraris vs. new Ferraris, some things are an automatic classic. And that's what the previous body is

I think you made a good point there brookes, the original was based on the GP winning championship bike. I would love to see duc take home another championship, and then put a new sedici out to commemorate it.

I doubt a new Desmo would de-value the current ones any more than they already are. Honestly, I'd like to know who's paid the $72,500 for a new one? You can pick up a used one with less than 3,500 miles for anywhere between $42,000 and $58,000... well equipped
